1. We spent two glorious weeks as Sunbeam teachers and loved every minute, and then I received a call to be the second counselor in the Young Women's presidency. I am super duper excited but also a little heartbroken, because I consider talking to 3 year olds one of my greatest talents in life. We didn't even make it to the "I'm Thankful for Fish" lesson! (insert crying face) Tayler told me that one of my sweet little friends kept asking where I was yesterday and my heart ached a bit. But I'm grateful for the chance to meet and love the girls in my ward!

2. Baseball season is upon us once again. Tayler had his first game this weekend and he did so stinkin good, I was proud wife-ing all over the place. He pitched 6 strike outs in 5 innings under some tough circumstances and SVU won 5-1; it was a fun way to start his season.

3. I am experiencing some major senior-itis realizing that next semester is my last semester! Haha somebody come help me, I can't motivate myself to do anything school related right now. All I want to do is rent all the musicals in the school's library and binge watch them.

4. A couple moved into our complex and we love them so much. Haha couple friends can be so hard to find but we all get along so well! It's been wonderful to have friends that live just a couple steps away, they have definitely been a huge blessing to us already.

And that is all that's new in our lives for now! We're just plugging along, me going to work and Tayler going to baseball with some homework and kisses on the side. I hope you have a great week!!

What's something new in your life lately?? :)

  1. Ohhhh! Young Womens is so fun. Although Sunbeams are hard to leave behind 😊 So glad you both are doing well and found friends. Something new in our lives...I am now 1st counselor in Primary Presidency. WA WA Wahoo! I love it and yes I had to leave nursery but I get to visit anytime I want. I have grown to love the youth sooo much. I have loved all my callings in church because I grow a lot even though sometimes they are hard.
