Living Room Gallery Wall

We received a sweet package from Tayler's mom last week filled to the brim with every type of Command strip that exists. She had heard that our landlords banned holes in the wall, so she equipped us with the legal methods for picture hanging. So with no excuses, we dedicated this weekend to adding some life to our little home.

I've always been a fan of a gallery wall, it seems like the perfect decorating solution for newlyweds because A) You already have a TON of picture frames from your wedding/reception and B) It doesn't matter that they don't match. At all.

High fives all around.

Mostly we use photos from our Honeymoon that we printed at Costco, but I like to mix in some text too.

All was going well and we felt pretty proud of ourselves, until we stepped back to check out our work.
 Behold.
How to Decorate without Nails
Can you see the fatal flaw?!! We were dying:D How did we not see it before?! The letters are so defined! I don't know what to do now because I love the different shape and texture of the wreaths, so I'm tempted to just leave it and see who is brave enough to comment on it when they come over.

Ultimately we'd like to find a bench to go underneath it all and hide that heat vent, but for now we're just using this cute cart Tayler found at Goodwill.

Tayler insists that you wouldn't notice unless you told someone, but I don't know about that...Overall we are happy with how it turned out though. Hooray for moms right?

So what do you guys think?? Is there an easy way to fix the unfortunate placement of the O's without effecting everything else? I'm open to suggestions! :)

  1. Truthfully, I didn't notice the "POO" until you pointed it out! I also asked two of my friends if they could find something funny, and they didn't see anything until I pointed it out to them! It came out super cute and I love the use of the wreaths, so original!

  2. Hahaha! First of all, this is adorable!! Looove it! Second of all, I didn't even notice the Poo until you pointed it out - but then I couldn't stop laughing. :) Really cute thought - thanks for sharing! :)

  3. Maybe you could just move 1 of the o's under the live life joyfully? Really, though, it looks awesome just as it is. I bet most won't even notice.

  4. I think you can move the wreaths down and switch them with the Live Life Joyfully sign!
